Every year this competition, together with the other races which form Vasaloppet winter week, attracts tens of thousands of participants, and at least as many visitors. In Vasalopps Arena things are now happening all the year round! There is so much more to discover and experience close by as well, everything from genuine local handicrafts to spectacular extreme sports and events.
The region is one of Scandinavia’s most well-visited districts. Apart from the tourist attractions, local trade and industry is rich and varied, embracing both major companies and smaller businesses.
